It is our pleasure to present a rich set of papers with the objective constructing path very high rate, ultra-reliable and ubiquitous mobile communications in July 2023 issue Mobile Communications Networks series. The articles span wide range topics, including use machine learning for channel quality prediction, uplink time synchronization techniques non-terrestrial networks (NTN) 3GPP, evolution digital terrestrial television (DTT), integrated sensing IEEE 802.11bf, altitude platform station (HAPS) green computing, blockchain-based network slice management, subsequently their potential address dynamic unpredictable traffic demands users an energy-efficient manner, finally architecture proposal 6G new requirements. Channel information critical cellular communication manage resources provide services within required limit. Due emergence diverse applications, uses scenarios (e.g., sensors, vehicles, IoT, massive antenna arrays, flying base stations) 6G, challenging need increased density, criticality complexity acquiring amplify significantly. article “Machine Learning-based Quality Prediction Networks” outlines limitations existing solution obtaining proposes forward-looking predicting based on learning. traditional approach transmitting, measuring reporting reference signals not scalable future deployment, as it time, energy resource heavy. proposed alternative reduces overhead consumption, predicts by finding relationship among characteristics correlation.

Ensemble Polling Strategies for Mobile Communications Networks
In communications systems mobile units must be found before information may be routed to them The process of nding each unit called paging requires the use of limited radio and xed network resources Thus the rate at which units can be found on average and the rate at which page requests can be satis ed subject to a delay criterion is intimately tied to the polling disci pline employed by the sy...
متن کاملClustering Intelligent Mobile Agents for Communications Networks
Intelligent mobile agents are sent between routers to carry out a set of required tasks. Mobile agents can carry algorithms and information to various routers that they visit, such as: timer, navigation algorithm, network information, stability of the network, and load traffic of the network. By clustering intelligent mobile agents, it is possible to minimize the cost of time for each agent to ...
متن کاملAdaptive Coupling of Heterogeneous Mobile Communications Networks
Adaptive coupling is a new proposed integration mechanism that adaptively changes coupling level from loose to tight and to very tight according to networks’ load status and delay constraints. Test results show that the adaptive coupling algorithm mitigates the problem of increased packet loss ratedue to load congestionfor the cases of tight and very tight coupling. In the same time it alleviat...
متن کاملProviding Seamless Communications in Mobile Wireless Networks
This paper presents a technique to provide seamless communications in mobile wireless networks. The goal of seamless communication is to provide disruption free service to a mobile user. A disruption in service could occur due to active handoos (handoos during an active connection). Existing protocols either provide total guarantee for disruption free service incurring heavy network bandwidth u...
متن کاملMultihop communications in future mobile radio networks
Cellular networks and wireless local area networks (WLAN) are being widely deployed for mobile radio communications. Taking into account the advantageous and drawbacks of both network architectures, it becomes obvious that a combination of them is the logical consequence for future mobile radio networks. The scope of this paper is to introduce a future radio network architecture called hierarch...
